CarrierX HD Direct

HD Direct from CarrierX delivers inbound and outbound calling over direct interconnections to major US carriers, currently including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

Why HD Direct?​

Unlike traditional VoIP routing, HD Direct eliminates intermediate hops by putting you on-net directly with carriers on the HD Direct Network. The result is better audio quality, lower latency, and stronger call integrity.

HD Audio​

All calls on the HD Direct Network use the AMR-WB codec (G.722.2) for wideband audio. Codec negotiation is handled automatically — if your network does not support HD audio, calls are transcoded transparently.

STIR/SHAKEN​

With end-to-end IP connectivity, HD Direct preserves STIR/SHAKEN attestation information throughout the call path, helping ensure call integrity and reducing spoofing risk.
