Rating

The Rating API provides rate lookup functionality that allows partners to retrieve pricing information for calls and messages associated with CarrierX-rented phone numbers (DIDs).

Partners can query the API to determine the applicable rates for:

  • Outbound calls or messages sent from a CarrierX DID to an external destination, and
  • Inbound calls or messages received from other phone numbers to a CarrierX DID.

Returned rates depend on the communication type (voice, SMS, or MMS) and, for calls, the endpoint types involved.
